I was totally inspired by this post by Mommy Hobbies to become more frugal and creative around the house. There are so many things we buy that we could just make!!
Last night I made my own dishwashing detergent..
INGREDIENTS
1 cup baking soda
1 cup borax
1/2 cup of salt
Airtight container
DIRECTIONS
-place all of the ingredients into an airtight container
-shake to mix the ingredients
-use 1 tablespoon per each load
-you can add white vinegar to the extra compartment for shine!
I doubled the recipe to fill my jar...
Results?
Super clean dishes with glasses that sparkle!! I am impressed and so excited that I made this. One more way to save money. Every dollar counts!
