Sunday's Best: Lovely Heat Free Curled Up-Do's

Sunday morning:
Prep time the night before: 15 minutes
Style time: 10 minutes

Over night I put my hair into about 10 large bantu knots on dried and stretched hair... (spritzed with my bottle of water and aloe vera juice and sealed with shea butter and grape seed oil)

I pulled half of the hair into a pony tail on top and pinned in the pieces to create a mohawk type shape with my curls...
I took the bottom half and did the same thing. There isn't a perfect shape or perfect way to do this, just pin as you go. I left some curls hanging..
Here is a back view. Its a little frizzy. This is AFTER church hair- after shouting in a blow out service! I love natural hair because after all that shouting my hair was still in tact! haha :)

I swooped the top to the side and pinned!

Sunday Night:
Prep time after morning service: 5 minutes
Style time: 5 minutes

After church, before my "Sunday Siesta" (nap) I put the front of my hair into 3 bantu knots and used the pineapple method to preserve my curls while I slept.

I threw my hair (I say threw because it was a style in haste lol) into a high bun. I pinned the curls to create a high curly bun. Curls are great to work with as a base because the hair looks dressy before you even style it. So simple styles become elegant and very dressy!

I smoothed my frizzies with a quick brush using my tangle teezer. Its not perfectly laid down but that doesn't bother me. I used an elastic headband to complete this look.
So there you have the top view! A quick, and easy hairstyle!

Front view! And I am off to church ya'll!

By the way, this was the FIRST Sunday that I shouted my hair down.. I have shouted hard and crazy before but my hair never moves lol. It just stays all pinned up in place. Not this Sunday night though.. It was a glorious, Holy Ghost, good time :)

How did you wear your hair on Sunday?
