My husband and I live in an apartment so the walls are white and must stay white. I tried my best to refashion our bathroom to make it have more energy!
Shower Curtain
I started with a bright shower curtain. My previous one was chocolate brown. It was nice and relaxing but dark. I wanted to liven things up. I found this on clearance at target for $13.50
Decorative Hand Towels
These are nice to add a special touch! I found these pink rosette hand towels at Marshalls on clearance for $3.99 each. At the time they didn't match my bathroom decor but I LOVE pink so I just had to have them.
I added charcoal hand towels for actual hand drying. My rosette towels are for decoration only!
Wallart
Important to add some color to my white walls! This portrait was hand painted by a very close friend. Her first painting. I love it!
Mirrors
Always fitting for a small space! They add depth and make your space appear larger than it actually is. Sort of an optical illusion! This mirror set was a wedding gift
Accessories
I found this soap dispenser from target on clearance for $6. The rose candle holder is a Jessica McClintock purchase from Big Lots for $4. And the vine double candle holder was also a Jessica McClintock set from Big Lots for $6.
I gave my bathroom an entire facelift for under $50!!
It doesn't take a lot of money! Just time and effort to decide what colors put off energy and happiness. Say goodbye to boring bathrooms and say good morning to bright and festive ones!
