Pros:

• Great hold, not flaky
• Defines natural curls
• Inexpensive
• Great for wash-n-go's

Cons:

• Can dry your hair without other oils (this was the main con)
• Hair shrinkage
• Can be flaky and dry if you use too much

My Review: I am in love. I have been looking for something to hold down my edges when I want them slick, to pull my hair up when I want it slick and I also wanted a product to define my natural curls. You get all of that in one product with this one :) I had heard many great things about it but I was slow to try it because typically gel is very drying because of the alcohol it contains. However I am very satisfied with this one.

It can be drying if you don't moisturize your hair! AND you have to be sure that you wash it out very well. My suggestion is to always always clarify your hair when you wash it to be sure that you get all of the product out. If you do not wash you hair well, you will get product buildup!

I have used this gel for:

• Slick edges - when wearing buns, ponytails, etc.
• Curls and gelling down my baby hairs at my temples
• Wash and go curl definer
• Twist out (I wasn't that pleased with it though)

Price: $3-5 depending on the size.
